Hi Queens and Kings,
As promised, we have an amazing feature this month with our beautiful sister, Natasha. If you haven't gotten the opportunity to meet her personally, we have a special treat for you! This woman of God is worth supporting simply by her living out the true love she believes in on the daily. She makes it a point to listen when you need someone to speak to, and has an almost ease and effortlessness in being present. She is a future health guru-meets super model-meets already the sweetest person on Earth...I mean how could we NOT want to shout this woman out?! So, without further ado, here is one of our amazing September Queens... Herstory: Hello, our readers would love to get to know you; please tell us about yourself! Queen: My name is Natasha Wanigatunga. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska; my ethnicity is 100% Sri Lankan. I currently live in Los Angeles. H: What would you say makes you a Queen? Q: Knowing that anyone can be a queen, having self-value is what I always look for. A queen loves and respects herself as she does to others. I believe we have one hand for helping ourselves and another for helping others. A queen is also faithful to her hearts desires. H: When is a time in your life that you personally overcame something, and how did you do this? Q: Towards the end of high school, I overcame a closed relationship with Christ, as I began embracing an open relationship in my faith. I've always had a relationship with Christ; however, towards end of high school is when I started to devote my words and actions aligning to my faith. When I was younger, I used to not share my relationship with Christ in fear of others opinions. I came to realize individual has a different and authentic way to embrace their faith. If you aren't judging anyone, and living with acceptance and love, it will be given back to you. H: What is something you're passionate about, and why? Q: Inner beauty! We live in a very visual world. Beauty is what is everlasting, and that is found on the inside. Sometimes we can be silly and think it all comes from the outside. Outer beauty is wonderful, yet it is only temporary. Inner beauty is eternal. Being a genuine, generous, and loving soul is what will be remembered throughout life. _______________________ Thank you so much for sharing a part of your story Natatsha; you spoke on some really great points. One thing we realize is that not one person's story is the same...What's happened in your life may or may not look like someone's story, but know that your testimony is consistent as it's purpose is to draw other's closer to their truest identity in Christ Jesus. If you feel different; it's because you were made to be unique. If you feel like other's won't understand; understand that God does; and if you feel like your lacking, know that you are enough; and what you focus on most will grow. So continue to heal, and grow in improving yourself internally; emotionally, and mentally...your true light is ready to shine; and it's time to begin with you --Herstory 💕
